Job summary

BNP Paribas Nederland is seeking an Indirect Tax Officer in Amsterdam to join the Dutch Tax team. You will report to the Head of Indirect Tax and ensure VAT compliance across BNP Paribas Group operations in the Netherlands.

The role involves advising on VAT, managing risks, and supporting cross-border VAT projects while developing skills in project management and process optimization. A hybrid work model and international environment await.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (tax) law, tax economics or finance.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Advise on VAT and other indirect tax matters for BNP Paribas Nederland.
• Identify VAT risks and opportunities and support complex projects.
• Coordinate with Head of Indirect Tax and internal stakeholders.
• Represent BNP Paribas toward Dutch Tax Authorities and external advisers.
• Contribute to VAT training and knowledge sharing.
