Job summary

Dott is seeking a Senior Indirect Tax Manager at its Amsterdam headquarters to own indirect tax matters across the group, focusing on Dutch and EU VAT and Customs. This hands-on role shapes how indirect tax is managed within a fast-growing international business.

You will collaborate with finance, legal, and operations, oversee VAT compliance, and drive process improvements while coordinating with the VAT team in Poland and external advisors. Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics.
• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment, preferably in a B2C environment with supply chain aspects related to high-volume assets.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch VAT and EU VAT rules and cross-border transactions.
• Proven experience with VAT compliance and reporting processes incl B2B and B2C e-invoicing and reporting.
• Experience working with Netsuite or a similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Advise on VAT treatment of domestic and cross-border transactions, including imports/exports and intercompany flows.
• Lead and coordinate VAT reporting and e-invoicing developments across the group.
• Design VAT-efficient structures for international operations and new activities.
• Provide VAT guidance to internal stakeholders and build VAT awareness.
• Oversee VAT compliance filings with the internal VAT team in Poland.
