Nexia DHW is looking for a VAT Compliance Specialist to join our international tax team in Amsterdam. You will manage and coordinate VAT compliance for international clients, including OSS, Intrastat, and relating filings, while advising on VAT risks and improvements.

You work with midsize to large clients, collaborating across practice groups and coaching colleagues on VAT updates and best practices. A Dutch HBO degree and 0–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset and comfortable in an international working environment.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Commercial awareness and proactive client focus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review VAT, OSS, and Intrastat returns.
• Reconcile VAT GL accounts with returns.
• Design and implement VAT administration processes for clients.
• Advise clients on VAT compliance and audits.
• Identify VAT issues and escalate when needed.
• Contribute to VAT updates within the team.
• Coach colleagues in VAT compliance.
