Job summary

Tecwave B.V., a leading dealer in commercial vehicles in the Netherlands, seeks a Van Workshop Manager to lead the daily workshop operations, supervise technicians and ensure work is planned efficiently and executed to the highest quality.

You combine deep technical knowledge with strong leadership to coach your team, resolve complex diagnostics, maintain safety standards, and continuously improve processes, contributing to the workshop’s development.

Qualifications

• Completed MBO Level 4 education in Automotive Engineering or Commercial Vehicle Technology.
• Experience as an automotive technician, commercial vehicle technician or in a similar technical role.
• Leadership experience or the ambition to grow into a leadership position.
• MOT (APK) certification is an advantage, or you are willing to obtain it.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A coaching leadership style with the ability to motivate colleagues.
• A customer-focused, solution-oriented and stress-resistant attitude.
• An enthusiastic and motivated work ethic with a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coaching the team of commercial vehicle technicians.
• Assigning work and ensuring an efficient workshop schedule.
• Supporting technicians with technical diagnostics and complex repairs.
• Monitoring the quality of completed maintenance and repair work.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and workshop procedures.
• Identifying, developing and implementing improvements within the workshop.
• Encouraging teamwork, development and motivation within the team.
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and ensuring the professional completion of all work.
