Job description

About us:

At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere. But our company is more than datasets, lines of code or A/B tests. We’re the thrill of the first night in a new place. The excitement of the next morning. The friends you make. The journeys you take. The sights you see. And the food you sample. Through our products, partners and people, we can empower everyone to experience the world.

Role Description:

We’re looking for a UX Writer to join our UX Writing and Content Design organisation in our Marketing department. We’re a close-knit community made up of more than 70 writers.

Organic Marketing:

You will drive craft decisions and help scale top-of-the-funnel landing journeys, working with highly iterative product and engineering teams across SEO, Marketing Landing Experience and AI. The topics you will own include legal nuances and tool-based craft technicalities.

You'd be embedded across multiple product teams, collaborating closely with PMs, marketing specialists and UX designers. Some weeks you'll be deep in campaigns and driving copy that’s locally relevant across markets; others you'll be moving quickly to work on smaller requests or flows. It's varied, fast-paced, and gives you real ownership of traveller-facing experiences at scale.

Our mission is to deliver the best value and easiest travel experience for our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to create products used by millions of travellers and partners around the globe across different platforms, from web to app.

In this role, you'll partner directly with highly iterative product teams, while enjoying the support, community and resources of a large, experienced UX organisation made up of nearly 200 writers, designers and researchers. You’ll report to the UX Writing Manager for your area who will support you in your growth and development.

UX Writers at Booking.com write clear and concise quality messaging that considers the end-to-end user experience. You need to be an excellent communicator and collaborator – we work in a dynamic and diverse environment where inclusivity, openness and humility are key. Almost everything you write will be translated into 44+ languages and dialects, and you’ll need to work closely with peers and stakeholders like Marketing, Brand and Legal to deliver at velocity and scale.
