Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. in Veghel invites you to join as an Internship/Graduation project focused on developing user-centred technical documentation. You will explore how users find and use information, and how to tailor content to their daily work and safety requirements.

You will conduct interviews and observations, analyze findings, and propose concrete improvements while aligning with learning and safety standards. Start date is February 2027 for a 6-month assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in user research methods such as interviews and observations.
• Desire to design information around users’ needs and contexts.
• Ability to combine user needs with technical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, observations and other user research to understand how people use technical information.
• Identify users' information needs, current practices and difficulties when searching for or using documentation.
• Investigate the technical, learning and safety requirements behind existing technical information.
• Analyse research findings to identify opportunities for more user-centred technical documentation.
• Bring user needs and technical requirements together to explore potential improvements.
