Job summary

AIG Europe S.A. (Netherlands branch) seeks an Underwriter Marine to drive profitable growth by crafting solutions for complex marine risks. You will work in a team, build broker relationships, and help structure deals with brokers and clients.

We expect 2-3 years in insurance with an interest in Marine, strong communication, analytical skills, and a customer- and sales-oriented mindset. Office-based role in Rotterdam with global training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth in Marine by developing creative solutions for complex risks.

• Generate new business by expanding broker network and attending broker events.
• Collaborate with Distribution, territory managers, and other underwriters to target accounts.

You will participate in negotiating pricing, terms & conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients.It will be important to generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market.
