Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of insurance experience, with an interest in Marine.
• Ability to analyse financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Customer and Sales orientated behaviours: motivated, tenacious, focused, proactive, and accountable.
• Interest in personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth in Marine by developing creative solutions for complex risks.
• Communicate risk appetite and value proposition to brokers; understand deal structures.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with brokers and clients.
• Generate new business by expanding broker network and attending broker events.
• Collaborate with Distribution, territory managers, and other underwriters to target accounts.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service to brokers and clients.
