Job summary

Strativ Group is expanding its Flight Operations team in the Netherlands, seeking an experienced Fixed Wing UAV Pilot to plan, execute, and support UAV flight campaigns. You will work with engineering, maintenance and mission teams to ensure safe and successful flights.

The role emphasizes operating Ground Control Stations, conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks, and supporting testing and validation of advanced fixed-wing UAV platforms. Travel to test sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Military UAV experience is highly desirable (Air Force, Army, Navy, or equivalent).
• Experience operating Ground Control Stations (GCS).
• Strong understanding of aviation safety procedures and mission planning.
• Experience supporting flight test or operational UAV programmes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fixed-wing UAV flight operations.
• Operate Ground Control Stations (GCS) and monitor aircraft performance throughout missions.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, mission planning, and risk assessments.
• Support flight testing, system integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Work alongside engineering teams to evaluate aircraft performance and contribute to continuous product improvement.
• Maintain accurate operational records, flight logs, and mission reports.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations.

I'm supporting a leading aerospace and defence technology organisation that is expanding its Flight Operations team in the Netherlands. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the operation, testing, and development of advanced fixed-wing UAV platforms.

The Role

As a Fixed Wing UAV Pilot, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting UAV flight operations while working closely with engineering, maintenance, and mission teams to ensure safe and successful flight campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fixed-wing UAV flight operations.
• Operate Ground Control Stations (GCS) and monitor aircraft performance throughout missions.

What We're Looking For
