Job summary

A leading foodservice supplier in Amsterdam seeks a truck driver to deliver orders to customers, ensuring timely and accurate service. You will interact with clients while driving modern electric vehicles, maintaining a work-life balance with hours from 05:00 to 16:00. Qualifications

• Holder of driving license C and willing to obtain Code 95 and driver card.
• Experience as a food distribution driver is a plus.

Job description

As a driver at Sligro, your workday starts between 05:00 and 07:00 am. After checking in at the driver’s desk, you grab a cup of coffee and collect the paperwork for your first route.

After docking, you load your electric box truck with the roll containers waiting for you at the warehouse dock. Once loaded, you hit the road. Depending on the route you drive, you may be supported by a (regular) co-driver. Together, you deliver the orders to the customers, often all the way into the kitchen or refrigerator.

During your route, you use the PDA to record all administrative tasks, such as registering emballage (trolleys, crates, kegs, etc.) that you take back to the distribution center.

You usually drive 2 routes per day, with 6 to 10 stops, finishing your workday around 15:00. So you’ll be home in time for dinner!

What you earn

You will be graded according to the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for Professional Goods Transport (CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer):

• A gross monthly salary between €3,385 and €3,520, depending on your experience;
• Allowances according to the CAO (e.g., 150% on Saturdays);
• Travel allowance from 11 km one‑way;
• At least 24 vacation days + 3.5 additional ATV days (full-time);

You are

• Holder of driving license C + Code 95 + driver card (or in the process of obtaining them / willing to obtain them)
• Experience as a food distribution driver is a plus
• Customer-oriented, social, communicative, and precise in your work
• Not afraid of physical work
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English
