Job summary

Sligro is seeking a Logistics Employee - Order Picker in Amsterdam. You will collect orders for customers using a fully automated, paperless system, guided by a finger scanner and an electronic picking cart. You work fixed shifts from Monday to Friday between 16:00 and 00:00, in a supportive team.

What will you do?

As a Logistics Employee - Order Picker, you collect orders for our customers in Amsterdam. You work with a fully automated and paperless system that tells you exactly which products to pick. Using a finger scanner and an electronic picking cart, you collect orders for several customers at the same time. You make sure everything is correct, place the carts on the right route and keep your department tidy. You work fixed shifts from Monday to Friday between 16:00 and 00:00, together with colleagues who support each other.

What are your responsibilities?

You collect orders independently and accurately using a terminal and electronic picking cart. You report immediately when an item is out of stock. You safeguard the quality of your work so customers receive exactly what they ordered. You keep the department clean and organised and contribute to the daily logistics targets of the Delivery Service. Together with your team, you make sure all orders are ready on time.

What you bring

You have a positive work attitude and enjoy being physically active. Experience in logistics is helpful but not required. You work accurately and stay focused, even when it gets busy. You have a reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain one. You speak Dutch and English and enjoy working in a team where everyone helps each other to get the job done.
