Job summary

Sligro is seeking a Logistics Employee Order Picker for Breda on a 36-hour schedule. You will use a fully automated order system and a finger scanner to collect customer orders, placing carts on the correct routes and ensuring orders are complete and on time.

You should be physically strong, accurate, and able to work well with colleagues. A reach truck certificate is preferred or you can obtain one with Sligro. Dutch or English language skills are required.

What will you do?

Every day, you collect orders for our customers from the Sligro Delivery Service in Breda. You work with a fully automated order system and use a finger scanner and electronic picking cart to pick products. The terminal on your cart shows exactly which items you need. You pick orders for multiple customers at the same time and place the carts on the correct route. You keep the department tidy and report when a product is out of stock. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that every order is complete and ready on time.

What are your responsibilities?

You are responsible for accurately collecting orders using modern equipment. You monitor the quality of the process, identify missing items and ensure that the department remains clean and organised. You work efficiently while staying accurate, so customers always receive what they ordered. You contribute to a smooth logistics process and support colleagues when needed.

When do you work?

Monday, 08:00-17:00, Tuesday, 08:00-16:00, Wednesday, 08:00-16:00, Thursday, 08:00-16:00 and Friday, 08:00-16:00.

• A maximum gross salary of €2,444.52 according to the CAO GIL collective labour agreement, including allowances for night and cold storage work.


• You receive 25 vacation days based on a full-time employment contract.


• You start with an eight-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

What do you bring?

You have a positive attitude and enjoy being physically active. You work accurately and keep an overview, even when it is busy. Experience in logistics is a plus, but not a requirement. You are physically strong and able to handle sometimes heavy tasks. You have a reach truck certificate or would like to obtain one with us. You speak Dutch or English and enjoy working together with colleagues.

The walk-in evening in Breda is scheduled for Wednesday 2 September. You are welcome between 16:30 and 18:30. Location: Kapittelweg 10, 4827 HG Breda
