Job summary

ASML is seeking a Treasury controller to contribute to the global treasury control framework, supporting accounting and reporting for derivatives, FX, financing, investments, and cash management. You will drive process standardization, automation, and robust controls in a dynamic, international environment.

The role connects Treasury, Accounting, Internal Control and external auditors, executing monthly, quarterly and annual closings with a focus on accurate reporting and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, financial control, treasury or audit.
• Experience in an international corporate environment; Big Four audit experience is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, preferably with exposure to financial instruments and hedge accounting.
• Experience with internal controls and SOx-compliant processes.
• Experience with process improvement, automation or finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience with SAP; familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., IT2) is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute treasury accounting and reporting activities for monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate group consolidation and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate accounting and valuation of treasury transactions, including cash, foreign exchange, derivatives, debt instruments, investments and hedge accounting relationships
• Execute and continuously improve treasury internal controls, including SOx controls, ensuring a robust and compliant control environment
• Monitor compliance with Treasury Policies and financial reporting requirements, supporting the identification, escalation and remediation of control deficiencies and policy deviations
• Partner closely with Corporate Treasury, Accounting Experts, Country Finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and effective end-to-end treasury processes
• Analyze treasury-related P&L, balance sheet and cash flow movements and provide insights to management and key stakeholders
• Contribute to treasury transformation projects and strategic initiatives, supporting ASML's ambition to achieve world-class Treasury and Finance Operations
