Job summary

Genmab is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Translational Data Science team in Utrecht, Netherlands. You will work on two connected directions: multimodal models integrating imaging with molecular data and an interpretable tissue-token codebook across radiology, pathology, and omics.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Dutch Master’s program in CS/AI or related field; internship required for graduation.
• Available for at least 6 months.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with CNNs/Transformers in medical imaging or related areas.
• Familiar with experiment tracking tools like Weights & Biases.
• Knowledge of MONAI, PyRadiomics, OpenSlide desirable.
• Strong interest in cancer biology, pathology, radiology, or spatial omics.
• Soft skills: analytical mindset, collaboration, communication, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate multimodal biomarkers combining imaging with molecular data.
• Develop discrete tissue tokens across imaging and omics for interpretable models.
• Collaborate with computational biologists, pathologists, and clinicians.
• Write modular, reproducible code and perform cross-validation.
• Present progress in internal seminars and contribute to reports.
