Job summary

HE Space, in collaboration with Sopra Steria, seeks a Training Operations and Development Support Officer to define and implement PM&C Academy operating models for ESA. Based in Noordwijk, you will coordinate learning programs, schedules, and stakeholder communications across on-site, online and hybrid formats.

You will bring a Masters in Education and at least four years of experience in adult learning, instructional design and project management, with strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Masters in Education or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in adult learning methodologies, instructional design, curriculum development, and the design and implementation of professional learning programmes and academy frameworks.
• Experience in the design, development and implementation of project management.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support ESA in defining and finalising the operating models for the PM&C Academy.
• Support the implementation of learning levels ( Awareness, Foundation, Advanced) considering logistics and resources.
• Analyse the Academy objectives, governance framework and learning architecture.
• Assess existing ESA learning and capability-development initiatives and infrastructure.
• Develop two to three alternative operating models for the PM&C Academy implementation.
• Define training scheduling principles, delivery cadences and roles for stakeholders.
• Outline enrolement and administration mechanisms; use on-site, online and hybrid formats.
• Evaluate advantages, risks and opportunities for each model and estimate effort requirements.
• Develop criteria for ESA to evaluate options and support deployment waves.
• Coordinate training logistics, communications and deployment activities across waves.
• Interface with ESA stakeholders and trainers to ensure readiness for delivery.
• Collect attendance data and support monitoring and evaluation activities.
