Job summary

Sun Chemical Treasury Intern position based in the Netherlands, Weesp, within the Group Treasury function. You will support cash management, FX reporting, funding and banking activities as part of a small international team.

You will gain hands-on exposure to group treasury operations while supporting reporting cycles, liquidity forecasting and intercompany funding, under supervision of experienced professionals. The internship is full-time with a €1,000 gross monthly allowance.

Qualifications

• Currently studying master's in finance, accounting or treasury.
• Strong analytical skills and finance knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (Microsoft Office).
• Internship allowance of €1,000 gross per month, on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Keep recurring treasury reporting cycles up to date.
• Process and improve global monthly FX reporting.
• Daily reporting global cashpool balances.
• Manage cash flow forecast of global liquidity.
• Process intercompany funding payments.
• Check & settle & reporting of FX & funding contracts.
• Support on monthly mark to market valuation of our derivative portfolio.
• Handle Treasury compliance reporting.
• Participate Ad-hoc projects & assignments.

THE ROLE

The Treasury Intern will join Sun Chemical Group Treasury, a global corporate function based in the Netherlands, supporting cash management, risk management, funding, and banking activities. Working closely with a small international team and key stakeholders across finance, tax, legal, and local subsidiaries, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to group treasury operations. Key Responsabilities, include:
