Job summary

Sonoco in Amsterdam is seeking a proactive Treasury Dealer to join the EMEA/APAC Treasury team. You will report to the Treasury Manager and Director, handling liquidity management, cash forecasting, and banking relationships for a global packaging business.

The role offers broad international exposure, daily decision-making in treasury, and a path to growth within a dynamic environment. 1-year contract with extension potential, located in Amsterdam, commuting allowance provided.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in Treasury / Finance (including internships).
• Master degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate before start date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash positioning and liquidity management across EMEA/APAC subsidiaries.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash visibility.
• Support centralised cash management and ensure efficient liquidity allocation to Group Treasury.
• Manage and maintain the 13-week cash flow forecasting process.
• Execute domestic and international banking transactions.
• Manage and analyse cash pooling structures, including interest and cost optimisation.
• Oversee credit facilities, lines, overdrafts, intercompany loans, and deposits.
• Monitor interest rates and banking conditions across treasury programs.
