Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Master's Intern to join the Talent & Culture team in Delft, Netherlands. This internship focuses on enhancing an inclusive culture and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) by assisting in planning and executing initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, be currently enrolled at a Dutch university, and are passionate about Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion. This position offers an opportunity to engage in meaningful projects with flexible start dates and a minimum contract of 6 months.

Qualifications

  • Master's student currently enrolled at a Dutch university.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks independently.
  • Full proficiency in English both in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evolution of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
  • Assist in planning global ERG initiatives and events.
  • Lead development of an ERG Playbook capturing best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance ERG impact across the organization.
  • Support country HR teams in translating certification findings into action.
  • Assist in the deployment of Leadership Identity initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support the continued evolution of our global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), helping to strengthen leadership capability, governance, engagement, and impact across the organization.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of global ERG initiatives, campaigns, events, and community‑building activities.
  • Lead the development of an ERG Playbook, capturing best practices, governance, tools, and resources to support the continued growth and impact of our ERG ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the reach and impact of our ERGs across the organization.
  • Support country HR teams in translating Gender Equality and Diversity Certification findings into actionable roadmaps that address identified gaps and advance inclusion and belonging locally, including project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and progress tracking.
  • Support the deployment of Leadership Identity initiatives, including communications, content rollout, learning resources, and SharePoint updates.

  • The start date is flexible and can be set between August 1 and September 2026. The initial contract is for a minimum duration of 6 months.
You bring
  • Master’s student in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, Culture Studies, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Currently enrolled at a Dutch university. You will have student status during the term of the agreement, i.e., from August 2026 to January 2027 (minimum 6 months). Your university will cosign the internship agreement.
  • Strong analytical mindset – Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Highly organized and proactive approach – Detail‑oriented with a structured way of working.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks independently with guidance.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Comfort in global environments – Experience or interest in working across cultures and virtual teams.
  • A true passion for Culture, Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and digital platforms.
  • Full proficiency in English both in speaking and writing.
