Job summary

IMC invites you to a summer internship in Amsterdam as a Trader Intern. You will dive into the proprietary trading landscape, generate and iterate trading strategies, and work on tooling for specific use cases under the guidance of experienced traders and mentors.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or related quantitative field graduating in 2028.
• Experience in a programming language is a plus (e.g. Python, Matlab, or R).
• You thrive in an environment where creativity, teamwork, and innovation are recognised and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Generate new trading strategies
• Iterate current trading strategies
• Work on tooling, functionality, and/or visibility for specific use cases
• Hone your trading skills by working on a relevant project, shadowing different trading desks, and participating in competitive simulated trading sessions
• Attend workshops, presentations, trainings, and social activities alongside the full internship cohort
