Job summary

Quant Blueprint LLC is offering a Trader Intern position in Amsterdam, part of a 10-week program where you will experience life as a trader. You'll generate and iterate trading strategies, work on tools, and enhance your skills through significant projects and mock trading sessions.

Job description

Our 10-week internship programme in Amsterdam is your chance to experience life as a trader at IMC. As a Trader Intern, you will delve into the proprietary trading landscape during a week of engaging and challenging classroom-based learning, continue to hone your skills with a meaningful project, and build a valuable network of IMC traders and engineers. Throughout the summer, you will receive comprehensive support from dedicated internship trainers, and a one-on-one mentor to guide you in your work and professional development. Core Responsibilities

• Generate new trading strategies
• Iterate current trading strategies
• Work on tooling, functionality, and/or visibility for specific use cases
• Hone your trading skills by working on a significant project, desk shadowing, and mock trading sessions
• Attend workshops, trainings, and other fun social activities alongside the full internship cohort

Skills and Experiences

• In your penultimate year of study in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field
• Experience in a programming language is a plus (e.g. Python, Matlab, or R)

• Genuine interest in financial markets (no prior knowledge or experience is required)
• Must be able to start the internship on June 23, 2025

IMC Trading's internship program duration is less than 90 days which unfortunately does not qualify for a Highly Skilled Migrant visa. Because of this and current regulations with the Immigratie en Naturalisatiedienst (IND), IMC Trading is unable to obtain immigration sponsorship for candidates who currently reside or attend university in Russia, Belarus, Iran or Ukraine.
