IMC Trading in Amsterdam offers a summer internship that immerses you in the life of a trader. As a Trader Intern, you’ll tackle proprietary trading concepts, complete a project, and face weekly trading challenges with guidance from internship trainers and mentors.

You’ll join a collaborative office where traders, researchers, analysts and engineers work together. The program includes a competitive compensation package, fully furnished accommodation, and catered meals as you develop your skills.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or related quantitative field graduating in 2028.
• Programming language experience (Python/ Matlab/ R) is a plus.
• Creativity, teamwork, and innovation are valued.
• Genuine interest in financial markets; no prior knowledge required.
• Start date: June 28, 2027.

Job description

Our summer internship programme in Amsterdam is your chance to experience life as a trader at IMC. As a Trader Intern, you will delve into the proprietary trading landscape during the first week of engaging and challenging classroom-based learning. You will have the opportunity hone your skills and apply what you’ve learned with a meaningful project and weekly trading challenges. Throughout the summer, you will receive comprehensive support from dedicated internship trainers, and mentors to guide you in your work and professional development. In our collaborative office environment, you will build a valuable network of IMC traders, researchers, analysts, and engineers.
