Job summary

OTC Flow, a leading trading and brokerage house for sustainable energy markets, is seeking an Operations & Control Officer to join the core Operations team. You will support trade execution, post-trade processes, and accurate financial bookings on the trading floor, collaborating with Legal, Risk, and Finance.

Located on the trading floor, you’ll optimize systems with the Development team and ensure smooth, compliant operations across environmental commodities and energy markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in operations, trade support, or post-trade operations within a financial institution, energy company, or commodity trading firm.
• Experience or strong interest in energy markets, commodity trading flows, registry transfers, or post-trade operations is a strong plus.
• Experience in commodity trade operations with exposure to biofuels, feedstocks, grains & oilseeds, and energy markets is a huge advantage.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and manage trade tickets and post-trade data across energy and environmental commodity markets.
• End-to-end execution and control of physical commodity transactions, including logistics, inventory management, and contract administration.
• End-to-end trade operations support: confirmations, deliveries, transfers, settlement coordination, reconciliations, and payments.
• Liaise with counterparties and internal teams to manage outstanding trade lifecycle items, delivery flows, and operational queries.
• Monitor daily trade flows, track operational risks, and assist with management reporting.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Finance to ensure compliance and proper trade booking.
• Work with the Development team to refine trading tools and automated workflows.
