Job summary

Invenire Group seeks an Associate to join its Middle Office team in Amsterdam. You will identify and reconcile trade, position and cash breaks while collaborating with trading desks, clearing firms and brokers.

You will own daily P&L substantiation and support month-end close with the Finance team. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Finance/Economics/Accounting, ~5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with derivatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics and Accounting is preferred.
• 5 years of working experience in a similar Middle Office or related role at financial institutions.
• Experience with derivatives and options products is highly desirable.
• Basic Python and SQL skills are preferred.
• Strong English communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and reconcile trade, position, and cash breaks.
• Own the daily P&L substantiation, reconciliation and daily management reporting.
• Reconcile trading fees with exchanges and clearing brokers.
• Process invoices and manage discrepancies directly with brokers/exchanges.
• Ensure Middle Office processes are efficient via continuous review and improvements.
• Collaborate with IT teams on specifications and improvements to Middle Office applications and tools.
• Provide operational support to trading desks and other stakeholders.
• Support month-end accounting in collaboration with the Finance team.
