Job summary

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek seeks an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to support our Finance team in Amsterdam. You will gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial administration and business operations while contributing to improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects.

You will work on supplier/client invoices, bank transactions, reconciliations, and monthly/annual reporting. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and strong Excel skills are expected, with

Qualifications

• You are currently pursuing, or have recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• You enjoy working with numbers, take ownership of your work and are eager to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail are essential.
• Good Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other analytical tools is a plus.
• Availability of at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier and client invoices.
• Supporting accounts payable and/or accounts receivable activities.
• Processing bank transactions and assisting with payment runs.
• Performing account reconciliations and administrative checks.
• Maintaining financial records and supporting bookkeeping activities.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end activities.
