Job summary

Abbott seeks a QA Manager for Third Party Manufacturing (TPM) in the EMEA region. You will oversee external manufacturing partners, drive quality improvements, and support audits and regulatory activities across a diverse, international network.

The role requires a scientific degree and 5–8 years in quality assurance or manufacturing, with strong cGMP knowledge and stakeholder management skills. This position is based in the Netherlands (Weesp) with standard work hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 5–8 years of QA/Manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Experience with sterile, liquid, solid dosage forms, or APIs.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across functions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality oversight of external manufacturing partners (TPMs).
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and remediation plans.
• Manage quality performance monitoring, quality reviews, and supplier compliance.
• Lead investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality risk assessments.
• Support GMP audits, regulatory inspections, and quality compliance activities.
• Review and maintain Quality Technical Agreements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Science & Technology, and Commercial teams.
• Act as QA Lead during product technology transfers, validation activities, and new product introductions (NPI).
