Robeco is seeking an early‑career Third-Party Management Specialist to support structured, compliant TPM processes. Gain practical experience coordinating assessments, maintaining records, and supporting process improvements across Procurement, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management teams.
You’ll learn how DORA translates into controls, evidence, and reporting while contributing ideas to smarter TPM workflows and better data quality in a global asset manager setting grounded in Rotterdam.
You will join Robeco’s Global Procurement, Third-Party & Facility Management department, a key part of our Operations domain. Our mission is to enhance financial resilience, operational efficiency, and sustainability by managing critical resources, vendor relationships, and workplace services across the organization.
The department consists of four interconnected teams: Procurement – Driving cost optimization and proactive contract management with the goal of achieving financial resilience through our vendors. Third-Party Management – Ensuring robust risk management, compliance, and governance with the goal of contributing to operational resilience in all engagements with third parties. Sustainable Operations – Putting our net‑zero ambitions into practice for our offices worldwide, engaging with key vendors to monitor and manage CO₂ emissions consumed via our vendor ecosystem. Facility Management – Creating a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment through high‑quality office services and infrastructure management.
Together, we act as a strategic partner to the business, enabling growth while safeguarding compliance and corporate values. We work closely with global stakeholders and external vendors on initiatives that impact the entire organization. Our culture is professional and collaborative, valuing transparency, continuous improvement, and innovation, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in cost efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
As a Third-Party Management Specialist, you will support the processes that help Robeco manage third-party risks in a structured and compliant manner. You will gain practical experience by working with stakeholders, coordinating assessments, maintaining records, tracking actions, and supporting process improvements. Prior experience in Third-Party Risk Management is not required; we are looking for someone with an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in developing within this area.
You are an early-career professional with a bachelor’s or Masters degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Supply Chain Management or another relevant field. You may already have some experience through an internship, traineeship, student job, or first professional role, but this is not a hard requirement. You are curious about third‑party risk management, operational resilience, financial services, regulation, and how organizations work with external suppliers.
As a Dutch asset manager operating globally, Robeco has always combined the best of both worlds. We have global reach and ambitions, while retaining our head office in our hometown of Rotterdam. Employees at Robeco share that combination: we hire and nurture people who can think internationally and put the client first, while keeping their feet firmly on the ground. We have strong links with academia, which underpin the research in our robust quantitative and sustainability investing strategies. Our people have backgrounds in finance but also in economics and geography. Likewise, as pioneers in emerging markets investing, our diverse backgrounds also add local knowledge. We offer an informal and flexible office atmosphere that gives people the room to be themselves, to grow and to perform to the best of their ability.
