BlueHeart Energy in the Netherlands is offering a Test Engineering Intern role to gain hands-on experience testing our heat pump technologies in a real laboratory environment.
You will support test execution on benches, assist with assembly, instrumentation, and data collection while learning how heat pump systems work and contributing to process improvements in a small, international team.
BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry.

With our so-called Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. Importantly, BlueHeart doesn’t require any refrigerants and doesn’t generate any CO2e emissions.
Join our Testing Team and gain hands‑on experience testing innovative heat pump technologies in a real laboratory environment.
As a Test Engineering Intern, you will support the execution of tests on our different test benches and heat pump components, help troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to improving our testing processes. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, assembling equipment, operating laboratory setups, and learning how heat pump systems work.
We are particularly interested in MBO students or practical‑oriented engineering students who are eager to learn, take initiative, and develop technical skills in the HVAC and heat pump domain.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled at a university in the Netherlands and remain enrolled as a student until at least February 2027.
