Job summary

YorTeam B.V. is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer in the Netherlands to ensure the quality, stability and reliability of business-critical applications.

You will develop, maintain and improve automated test solutions using Robot Framework, Python, REST API testing, Playwright, Docker and Azure DevOps. You will collaborate with developers, DevOps and stakeholders in an Agile environment, delivering robust test automation, expanding test coverage and enabling faster, more reliable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in test automation.
• Strong experience with Robot Framework.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Strong experience with REST API testing and JSON.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Proactive, quality‑focused and comfortable working across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Robot Framework test suites, resources and Python keyword libraries.
• Monitor automated test runs and pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Investigate failures, analyze logs and identify root causes.
• Test REST APIs, JSON payloads and authentication flows.
• Maintain Dockerized test execution for API and front-end testing.
• Improve test reporting, logging and overall test reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer for a client in the Netherlands. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, stability and reliability of business-critical applications by developing, maintaining and improving automated test solutions.

You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers and other stakeholders, combining Robot Framework, Python, REST API testing, Playwright, Docker and Azure DevOps to increase test coverage, investigate failures and enable faster and more reliable releases.

Your Job
