Job summary

ITProposal in Leeuwarden, Netherlands is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join a DevOps team in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on ensuring quality, stability and reliability of complex software while collaborating with developers and other tech disciplines.

You will design and implement testing strategies, develop automated tests with Cypress, Cucumber and JUnit, and analyze production issues within an OPS context. Strong Dutch-language experience and HBO-level background are required.

Qualifications

• TMap NEXT Foundation certification.
• "TMap NEXT Advanced / ISTQB Advanced" or equivalent advanced testing certification.
• Minimum 5 years' professional IT experience at HBO level.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Dutch-language professional environments.
• Minimum 4 years' experience with automated testing of service-oriented systems.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
• Minimum 4 years' experience with automated testing frameworks/tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform impact and risk analyses and contribute to Product Risk Analysis (PRA).
• Define and implement testing strategies together with the DevOps team.
• Design, maintain and improve automated tests using Cypress, Cucumber and JUnit.
• Perform chain testing with external/internal partners.
• Apply various testing techniques including functional, regression, performance, stress, system, chain and acceptance testing.
• Analyse application logs and investigate production issues as part of an OPS team.
• Write and execute SQL queries.
• Work with service-oriented systems, APIs and asynchronous messaging.
• Collaborate closely with developers to prevent duplicate testing and improve test coverage.
• Support colleagues with testing and test automation.
• Contribute to a T-shaped way of working by developing knowledge across disciplines.
• Help establish and continuously improve test automation within the team.

Senior Test Analyst – DevOps | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a DevOps team within an IT & Data environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability and reliability of complex software applications while working closely with developers and other technical disciplines.

Role

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will:

• Perform impact and risk analyses and contribute to Product Risk Analysis (PRA)
