BENK PROJECTS in Nederland is gespecialiseerd in ondergrondse infrastructuur. Als engineer binnen dit project werk je aan de toekomst van kabels en leidingen, voer je klantgesprekken en bekijk je ter plaatse de situatie. Qualifications

• Technische HBO/WO opleiding civiel of werktuigbouw.
• Enige jaren ervaring met ondergrondse infrastructuur is een pré.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands, communicatie met klanten.
• Inzicht in ontwerpen, regelgeving en veiligheid.

Responsibilities

• Ontwerpen en plannen van ondergrondse infrastructuur.
• Overleggen met klant en implementatieteam over wensen en uitdagingen.
• Samenwerken met collega’s aan detailontwerpen en uitvoering.
• Verantwoordelijk voor duidelijke aanwijzingen en tijdlijnen.

Job description

As an engineer within the NuRijnland project you will be working on the future of underground infrastructure. No two days are the same: one day you start with a meeting with the client in which you discuss wishes and challenges, the next day you are outside on location to see the situation with your own eyes. You assess whether there is sufficient space for cables and pipes and think about smart solutions. Back at the office, you work with colleagues on the design. You puzzle over technology, regulations and safety to arrive at a plan that is right down to the last detail. You consult with the implementation team, make sure everyone knows what needs to be done, and occasionally take a look at a project in progress. This is how you see your design come to life. You are curious, eager to learn and love variety. In this role you will learn quickly, work with an experienced team and contribute to projects that make a real impact in the region. • You have completed a technical college degree, preferably in civil or mechanical engineering;
• You have an affinity for the design and construction of underground infrastructure;
• You have already gained a few years of experience within underground infrastructure or engineering and are ready for a new challenge;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language and communicate easily with both internal and external customers;
• You enjoy and value taking responsibility for your designs and enjoy thinking about smart, innovative solutions.
