Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam is seeking a Painter for a temporary 4-month contract. You will maintain interior and exterior surfaces to hotel quality standards, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

You must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with the maintenance team, following health and safety procedures and coordinating with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as part of the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Paint and repaint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, and other surfaces in guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks or holes, and applying primers as needed.
• Maintain and repair painted surfaces to ensure a high standard of appearance at all times.
• Work in public areas with minimal disruption to guests and operations.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of painting tools and materials.
• Follow health and safety regulations and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and report any structural or repair issues identified during work.
