Job summary

Hotel Co 51 is seeking a Painter for a temporary 4-month contract at Courtyard Amsterdam in Amsterdam‑Zuidoost. You will maintain interior and exterior surfaces, ensure quality standards, and work independently or with the maintenance team to keep guest areas in excellent condition.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in guest areas with minimal disruption. This role emphasizes safety, proper tool handling, and coordination with the hotel maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Paint and repaint walls, ceilings, doors, frames and other surfaces in guest rooms and public areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks or holes, and applying primers as needed.
• Maintain and repair painted surfaces to ensure a high standard of appearance at all times.
• Work in public areas with minimal disruption to guests and operations.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of painting tools and materials.
• Follow health and safety regulations and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and report any structural or repair issues identified during work.
