Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam is seeking a Painter for a temporary 4-month contract to maintain interior and exterior surfaces to the hotel's high standards.

You will paint and repaint walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces, prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming, and work with the maintenance team to address issues while minimizing guest disruption. Strong reliability and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Paint and repaint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, and other surfaces in guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks or holes, and applying primers as needed.
• Maintain and repair painted surfaces to ensure a high standard of appearance at all times.
• Work in public areas with minimal disruption to guests and operations.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of painting tools and materials.
• Follow health and safety regulations and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and report any structural or repair issues identified during work.
