Job summary

Netflix is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to help internal staff and external partners with Studio technology in the Marketing Publicity & Promotional Media spaces, identifying friction and gathering information to prioritize actionable understandings of the overall user experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate IT, systems administration, or technology support.
  • Comfortable using GenAI productivity tools and applying AI thoughtfully within technical workflows.
  • Ability to serve as a primary point of contact for users seeking technical assistance and to engage effectively across ticketing systems, email, chat, and virtual meetings.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills to investigate, troubleshoot, research, and diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Robust documentation mindset, translating information into knowledge-base articles, user stories, and support playbooks.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing technical issues, including triaging/researching bugs and maintaining documentation.
  • Ability to identify patterns of user friction and maintain an organized User Experience backlog in Jira.
  • Proven track record of recommending and implementing user experience improvements and self-service solutions.
  • Commitment to Netflix’s inclusive environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and support teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first line of support on key proprietary Marketing Technology & Promotional Media applications
  • Contribute to production workflows and terminology to troubleshoot issues within production planning tools
  • Understand interconnections between production systems and pipelines and their impact on production lifecycle
  • Maintain awareness of upcoming application releases and migrations
  • Support users across different production phases with varying technical expertise levels

Role

Ntech: Technology Experience Specialists (TES) use their technical knowledge and experience to provide technology support to users, converting information and learning from interactions to prioritize, actionable understandings of the holistic user experience.


As a Technology Support Specialist, you play an instrumental role in supporting Netflix internal staff & external partners and their engagement with Netflix’ proprietary Studio technology in the Marketing Publicity & Promotional Media spaces by examining user friction and gathering relevant information. This begins the process of working with subject matter experts and partner teams to improve the overall technology experience and permanently resolve recurring issues in the long term.


Skills And Experience


  • 5+ years of experience (or equivalent hands-on expertise) in corporate IT, systems administration, or technology support, preferably in a streaming, media technology, or broadcasting environment.

  • Comfortable using GenAI productivity tools (e.g., Claude CoWork or similar) and applying AI thoughtfully within technical workflows.

  • Ability to serve as a primary point of contact for users seeking technical assistance and to engage effectively across different channels (e.g., ticketing systems, email, chat, virtual meetings).

  • Strong critical-thinking skills to investigate, troubleshoot, research, and diagnose complex technical issues using available systems and tools.

  • Robust documentation mindset, translating information into clear knowledge-base articles, user stories, and support playbooks.

  • Experience managing and prioritizing technical issues, including triaging/researching bugs, participating in incident/outage workflows, escalating to partner teams, and maintaining high-quality documentation.

  • Ability to identify patterns of user friction (e.g., in Zendesk tickets), translate them into clear problem statements, and maintain an organized User Experience backlog in Jira.

  • Proven track record of recommending and/or implementing user experience improvements, self-service solutions, and productivity enhancements.

  • Commitment to demonstrating and reinforcing Netflix’s focus on an inclusive environment in all aspects of your work.

  • Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, leading by example and actively supporting teammates as needed.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and, where needed, adjust working hours to meet operational needs, with schedules communicated in advance where possible.

  • Ability to learn and adapt in a changing environment and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Business-level proficiency in English for effective written and verbal communication with global stakeholders.
