ENGLISHWe're looking for a Technical Producer who safeguards and develops the technical DNA of our productions. Someone who translates complex artistic and production plans into technically feasible and executable productions — and who builds a scalable technical standard that grows with us.
As a Technical Producer you are responsible for everything technical: technical drawings, riders, AV, rigging and power.
Making Waves is an ambitious events organisation active in the dance and theatre sectors. With brands like Cinema in Concert, ZeeZout, By the Creek and Ohm Festival, we produce a wide variety of live events: from film concerts in Het Concertgebouw and large-scale concerts in Rotterdam Ahoy to unique festivals, club nights and distinctive cross-over events.
From Amsterdam we create unforgettable experiences. We develop and produce our events fully in-house: from concept and production to marketing and bookings. Driven by quality, creativity and a distinctive audience experience.
As a Technical Producer you are the technical heart of Making Waves. You translate artistic and production plans into concrete technical execution: from festival site plan to stage plot, and from rigging plan to power plan.
You are the continuous technical bridge — the one who ensures technical standards, supplier relationships and production quality remain consistent across all events. Together with four colleagues, you form the production team responsible for producing all of our own events, from festivals to concerts.
We'll get back to you quickly after your application.
The process consists of at least two interviews, in which we'd like to get to know you and dive deeper into your experience and vision.
If there's a good match, we may invite you to come along to one of our productions, so you get a direct sense of the role and working environment.
You work in an environment with clear peak moments around events. That requires flexibility, but also brings a lot of energy and visible results.
