Job summary

pladis Foods Limited is seeking a Technical Operator to manage a portion of the packaging process in the packing area. You will follow packaging specifications and machine/process standards to ensure quality and safety at all times.

You will contribute to making the packaging process more efficient by carrying out improvements, while maintaining a clean and hygienic environment and working within a 3-shift, full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week and a 20% shift allowance.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of packaging processes and packaging machines in the packing area; MES system knowledge (user level).
• Ability to operate (electric) pallet truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust and set multiple simple or complex machine installations.
• Operate and record in control systems according to standards.
• Monitor process parameters via control systems and observations of the packaging process.
• Perform (critical) process controls and take actions when deviations occur.
• Check and, if needed, replenish tools and consumables.
• Ensure a clean, safe, hygienic food-safe working environment.
• Apply stock management of packaging materials in the packing area according to FIFO.
• Check and record the amount and usage of packaging materials.
• Visually inspect packaging and products against quality standards.

Als Technisch Operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor een goed verloop van een deel van het verpakkingsproces in de inpak area, door verpakkingsspecificaties en machine- en processtandaarden nauwkeurig te volgen.

Je draagt zorg voor de kwaliteit en veiligheid van een deel van het verpakkingsproces in de inpak area door het te allen tijde te monitoren en zelfstandig in te grijpen wanneer dat nodig is.

Je levert een actieve bijdrage aan het effectiever en/of efficiënter maken van het verpakkingsproces van de inpak area door het uitvoeren en aandragen van verbeteringen.

Jouw belangrijkste taken

• Bedienen, ombouwen en afstellen van meerdere eenvoudige of een complexe machine inestallatie(s);
• Bedienen van en registreren in besturingssystemen volgende geldende standaarden;
• Monitoren van procesparameters via controlesystemen en door waarneming van een deel van het verpakkingsproces;
• Uitvoeren van (kritische) procescontroles en signaleren van afwijkingen en indien nodig maatregelen nemen;
• Controleren en indien nodig aanvullen van hulpmiddelen en verbruiksmaterialen;
• Zorgdragen voor een schone, veilige, ordelijke en hygiënische voedselveilige werkomgeving;
• Toepassen voorraadbeheer van de benodigde verpakkingsmaterialen in een deel van de inpak area volgens FIFO-principe;
• Controleren en registreren van de hoeveelheid en het gebruik van verpakkingsmaterialen;
• Visuele inspectie van verpakkingen en producten op de vastgestelde kwaliteitseisen.

Wie jij bent

• MBO 3 werk/denk niveau.
• Kennis van verpakkingsprocessen en machines in de inpak area; Kennis van MES-systeem (user niveau).
• Bediening (elektrische) palletwagen.

Arbeidsovereenkomst voor bepaalde tijd (12 maanden) met uitzicht op een vast dienstverband.

Salary and Benefits

• Een bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.000 en € 3.599 exclusief ploegentoeslag, afhankelijk van ervaring.
• Het salaris is conform ons eigen salarishuis.
• 20% ploegentoeslag in verband met een 3‑ploegenrooster.
• Fulltime dienstverband voor 37,5 uur per week.
• 24 vakantiedagen en 18 TVT dagen (op basis van het 3‑ploegenrooster en fulltime).
