Job summary

Mpac Langen seeks a Technical Writer to own machine documentation and deliver user manuals for complete packaging machines. You will collaborate with engineers, R&D, service and operations to ensure compliance with legislation and high-quality content.

Responsibilities include creating training materials, managing documentation in Author‑IT, and coordinating translations while improving templates and processes across projects. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in mechanical engineering.
• Experience creating technical manuals and construction files.
• Familiar with content management systems; preferably Author‑IT.
• Knowledge of machine directives and CE processes.
• Strong Dutch and English language skills; good layout/graphics sense.
• Structured, accurate and communicative work style.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain user manuals for complete machines.
• Develop training materials at Operator and Advanced levels.
• Set up, manage and improve documentation in Author‑IT.
• Gather and structure technical input with Engineering, R&D, Service and Operations.
• Draft and manage CE documentation and construction files.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor documentation activities within projects.
• Organise and coordinate translations.
• Continuously improve documentation processes, templates and standards.
