Job summary

Scale-up is seeking a senior Lead Ruby on Rails Developer to own the platform's technical backbone, drive architecture, and lead the development team on-site in the Netherlands.

You will collaborate with founders on the roadmap, manage API integrations, ensure security and performance, and guide implementation of scalable SaaS architectures in a fast-moving international environment.

Qualifications

• Strong production-level experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Previous lead developer or senior developer with team responsibility.
• Experience designing scalable SaaS architectures.
• Experience working with APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Solid understanding of software quality, security and performance.
• Comfortable working in an international English-speaking environment.
