Job summary

Prodrive Technologies in Eindhoven, NL, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the PMS team to ensure availability and performance of advanced production equipment, including robot cells and automated test solutions. You will troubleshoot mechanically, electrically, and occasionally software issues, driving continuous improvements on a hands-on, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• MBO 3/4 or HBO in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Affinity with mechanics, electronics and basic software troubleshooting.
• Experience with or willingness to learn structured problem-solving methods.
• Proactive mindset with attention to safety, quality and detail.
• Willing to work in two-shift system.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance based on internal planning and instructions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues at component and system level.
• Carry out corrective repairs and verify operational readiness.
• Conduct root cause analyses using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone).
• Communicate during breakdowns and keep stakeholders updated.
• Document findings in maintenance logs and RCA reports.
• Support service and rework activities based on technical documentation and drawings.
• Suggest and help implement improvements to increase uptime and machine performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on reliability improvements.
