Job summary

Prodrive Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure availability and performance of internal production equipment, including robot cells for dispensing, pick-and-place, laser marking and automated tests.

You will troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and work hands-on with mechanical, electrical, and software issues to improve uptime and production efficiency. Join a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• MBO 3/4 or HBO in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive.
• Read and interpret technical documents, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Willing to work in two-shift system and follow safety rules.
• NEN 3140 (VOP/VP) certification, FESTO/ABB robotics training desirable.
• Familiar with network protocols (Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA) and basic PLC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance based on internal planning and instructions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues at component and system levels.
• Carry out corrective repairs and verify operational readiness.
• Conduct root cause analyses using structured methods like 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
• Communicate during breakdowns and update stakeholders on progress.
• Document findings in maintenance logs, RCA reports and shift handovers.
• Support service and rework activities from documentation and drawings.
• Suggest improvements to increase uptime and machine performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing on reliability improvements.
