Job summary

GREEFA, a leading international high-tech supplier of sorting solutions for fruits and vegetables, seeks a Technical Support Engineer. You will handle technical support for customers, dealers and technicians, diagnose machine control and software issues, and log activity in the ticketing system.

On-site support to international clients is also part of the role. We value a technical MBO/HBO background, PLC programming knowledge, IT aptitude, and fluency in English with a preference for German.

Qualifications

• Requires technical MBO/HBO level (electrical, mechatronics, or technical informatics).
• Knowledge of PLC programming and IT is important; experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and preferably German (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and on-site technicians for sorting installations and related equipment.
• Manage tickets, issue prioritization, and documentation of service actions.
• Deliver technical trainings to customers, dealers, and colleagues; travel to international customers for on-site support.
