Job summary

HCLTech invites a Proficient DevOps Engineer to support backend applications in the Payments domain, focusing on SEPA Direct Debits. You will ensure platform availability, security, and lifecycle management across critical systems.

In a hybrid team, you will manage incidents, deployments, monitoring, and automation while complying with risk and security standards and participating in on-call rotations to guarantee 24/7 service availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in Incident, Change, and Configuration Management (ITIL).
• Hands-on OpenShift or equivalent container platforms.
• Running containerized microservices and Java components in virtualized environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines using YAML, Ansible, Git); Ansible knowledge is a must.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with Oracle or other relational databases and Kafka topics.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring high availability and operational stability of the platforms.

As a Proficient DevOps Engineer, candidate will support backend applications within the Payments domain, specifically in the SEPA Direct Debits area.

Candidate will contribute to ensuring the availability, security, and lifecycle management (LCM) of critical platforms.
