Job summary

HCLTech invites a Proficient DevOps Engineer to support backend applications in the Payments domain, focusing on SEPA Direct Debits. You will ensure platform availability, security, and lifecycle management across critical systems.

In a hybrid team, you will manage incidents, deployments, monitoring, and automation while complying with risk and security standards and participating in on-call rotations to guarantee 24/7 service availability.

Qualifications

Experience in Incident, Change, and Configuration Management (ITIL).
Hands-on OpenShift or equivalent container platforms.
Running containerized microservices and Java components in virtualized environments.
Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines using YAML, Ansible, Git); Ansible knowledge is a must.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
Experience with Oracle or other relational databases and Kafka topics.

Responsibilities

Ensuring high availability and operational stability of the platforms.
Managing technical and functional incidents, including participation in the on-call rotation.
Supporting pre-production and production deployments.
Contributing to monitoring and alerting improvements.
Driving automation initiatives to increase efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with ING risk and security standards.
