Job summary

Benchmark Almelo is seeking a Project Manager to lead a large, technically complex project in medical, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor industries. You will bridge customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and to high quality standards.

You will own the project plan, drive decisions, and manage a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on ownership, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Project Management experience in a technical environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills; fluency in English required (Dutch a plus).
• Strong affinity with technology and business; ability to balance customer requirements, engineering priorities and commercial objectives.
• Experience in medical, aerospace, defense, semiconductor or other regulated high-tech industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a large, complex technical project from initiation through delivery.
• Develop and drive the project plan, balancing technical, commercial, quality and customer requirements.
• Act as the key customer contact, build trust, and identify opportunities to strengthen long-term relationships.
• Create alignment across internal and external stakeholders and enable timely decision-making.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team, set priorities, and delegate responsibilities.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute beyond the immediate project scope.
