Job summary

Venquis is seeking an IT Business / Technical Analyst to join their Product & Technology team in Utrecht (IJsselstein area). The role involves acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, and turning them into practical solutions.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, document requirements, write user stories, and support migrations and tests. Dutch and English language skills are required, with 4 days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of IT/Business Analysis experience.
• Background as IT Analyst, Business Analyst, or Technical Analyst.
• Languages: Dutch & English.

IT Business / Technical Analyst - Product & Technology

Location: IJsselstein (Utrecht area), Netherlands
Working Model: 4 days onsite per week

About the Role

We are looking for a technically minded IT professional to join our client's technology team in Utrecht.

This could be a great fit for someone coming from a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Product Owner or similar background who enjoys working between business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will play an important role in understanding business and customer needs, translating requirements into practical solutions and helping development and technology teams deliver them effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges and priorities
• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with developers, testers, infrastructure teams and other technical specialists
• Act as the link between business stakeholders and technology teams
• Understand existing solutions and the history behind them when defining future requirements
• Support application, system and technology migrations
• Work with testing teams to ensure requirements are clear, complete and testable
• Help prioritise requirements and manage competing stakeholder demands
• Communicate progress, requirements and technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Work with senior and C-level stakeholders across multiple countries
• Take ownership of assigned projects, requirements or product areas and drive them forward independently

Technical Environment

You don't need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable discussing technology with development and infrastructure teams.
Experience with some of the following would be beneficial:

• Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform
• Back-end applications and services
• Software development environments
• Application and system migrations
• IT infrastructure and connectivity
• VPNs and related infrastructure
• Visual Studio
• Software testing and test requirements
• Working with development teams and technical documentation

Azure experience is preferred, but the client is open to candidates from other cloud or technology backgrounds.
