Job summary

VIPS PMS in the Netherlands is looking for a Product Owner who collaborates with product and development teams to turn strategy into actionable work. You’ll translate priorities and maintain backlog while empowering developers.

You don’t need to be a developer, but you should be curious about technology, able to talk with developers, and dive into details. Hybrid work option from Nieuwegein office with flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Genuine interest in technology and SaaS.
• Some experience with REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Ability to turn ideas and problems into clear, workable solutions.

• Translate product priorities into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Help keep the backlog and roadmap up to date and aligned with the product direction.

• Follow work through to delivery and make sure what we build solves the problem we set out to solve.

As Product Owner at VIPS PMS, you’ll work closely with our Product and development team to turn product strategy into clear, practical work. The direction and frameworks are in place. Within those, we give you the freedom to figure out the best way forward.

You don’t need to be a developer. You do need to be curious about technology, comfortable talking to developers and willing to get into the details when needed.

What you’ll do

You’ll be involved from idea to delivery. Your work will include:

• Translate product priorities into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

What we’re looking for

You don’t have to tick every box. We’re more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV.

You probably have:

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• A genuine interest in technology and SaaS.
• Some experience or understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• The ability to turn ideas and problems into clear, workable solutions.
• A creative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and make decisions within clear frameworks.
• The confidence to work directly with developers and ask questions when you don’t understand something.
• Good command of English. Dutch is a plus.
• Affinity with hospitality and travel is a plus.
