Job summary

Danone in Haps, Netherlands, is seeking a Technical Department Manager for our state-of-the-art factory. You will lead the maintenance of manufacturing lines, manage planning, execution, and budget, and drive technical capability development of the Equipment Owners and the Technical Team.

You will report to the Factory Operations Manager and work within the operations team to deliver SQCDME breakthroughs. The role requires coaching, accountability, and a hands-on leadership approach to build

Qualifications

• Bachelor or academic degree in manufacturing, engineering, or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably Food/FMCG.
• Proven track record as team manager and project lead in CI or operational excellence.
• Experience in maintenance planning and budgeting.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Technical Department Manager

Haps - Fulltime

In our state-of-the-art factory in Haps 450 employees are working every day on delivering the highest standards. For our maintenance department we are looking for a Technical Department Manager to lead the maintenance of the manufacturing lines (planification, execution, budget) and technical capability development of the Equipment Owners and the Technical Team.

As Technical Department Manager you are part of the operations Team and report directly to the Factory Operations Manager.

You are responsible for delivering SQCDME breakthroughs with the Line Centric Organisation and to grow capabilities both your own as your team members. Together with the operations team you are responsible for further development and execution of the DAN-IWS programme to establish the results and reach planned phase changes. As leader of the operations technical department you lead your people by example, taking accountability, act as a coach building capabilities and are guardian of our fundamentals.

About you

Do you have a bachelor or academic degree in manufacturing, engineering, or likewise and relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in Food/FMCG? Then you might be the right candidate for us.

To be succesfull in this role we are also looking for an experienced team manager with a proven track record as project lead preferably in continuous improvement and/ or operational excellence projects. You also have experience in setting up and executing maintenance plans and -budgets. Knowledge of digital systems is a pré.

You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
