Job summary

Danone's Q&T System and Digital Technologist at the Haps site contributes to shaping, optimizing and sustaining digital tools and data flows powering operations. You lead digital innovations, integrate recipes into SAP/MES/PLC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset, delivering projects that connect MES, SCADA and PLC systems with SAP

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Quality or Technology.
• Strong knowledge of food processing technologies, preferably within Infant Nutrition.
• Advanced competence in Excel, Power BI, SAP, MES, SCADA, and PLC systems.
• Excellent English communication; Dutch is a plus.

• Lead and support digital innovations and improvements for the Quality and Technology department: identify, assess and implement digital opportunities, develop and maintain dashboards in PowerBI and Excel VBA, Translate functional requirements into system solutions across MES, SCADA, and PLC environments
• Introduce new materials and recipes into factory systems:(Integrate recipes into SAP, Translate recipe requirements into operational settings for MES, PLC, and SCADA systems)
• Technology partner for Digital and Engineering teams, Operations, Quality and Technology in project execution and performance.

Q&T System and Digital Technologist Haps – Fulltime

For our state-of-the-art factory at Haps we are looking for a Q&T System and Digital Technologist. As our System and Digital Technologist, you contribute directly to the Quality & Technology team’s mission by shaping, optimizing, and sustaining the digital systems that power our operations. You apply your technical expertise and hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset to ensure our digital tools, data flows, and production systems work seamlessly together. In this role, you support the realization of innovation, renovation, productivity, secure, quality, and investment projects—either by leading them or by actively contributing within multidisciplinary teams. You further strengthen our performance by driving and supporting continuous improvement of process, project, departmental, and factory workflows, while acting as a key link between the factory and R&I to ensure digital and technological solutions meet both current and future operational needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

About You

Based on the scope and description above, the role requires an 3-5 years of experience in Quality or Technology with strong proven experience knowledge of food processing technologies preferably within Infant Nutrition. Furthermore you are/have:

• Result driven and able to formulate & communicate objectives in clear way
• Strong experience in process optimization and continuous improvement
• Oversee situations and processes and translating issues into effective & systematic approach
• Ability to perform under pressure in a very fast paced, complex, and dynamic environment
• Advanced competence in Excel, Power BI, SAP, MES, SCADA, and a solid working understanding of PLC systems
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and Dutch is a plus.
