Job summary

Technical Agronomy Advisor (Potatoes, pears, sugar beet, onions & maize)- Netherlands - €33,600 - €39,600

The Job:

Our client is seeking a Technical Agronomy Advisor to support growers across the Dutch open-field sector. This is a field-based role focused on providing practical agronomic advice, developing grower relationships and supporting the commercial development of an innovative agricultural product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with growers across the region
  • Provide practical agronomic and technical advice
  • Support growers with product trials and demonstrations
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and farmer leads
  • Work closely with distributors and commercial teams
  • Attend agricultural events, demonstrations and field days
  • Gather market feedback and report on trial results
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reports.

The Candidate:
  • Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Pathology or a related subject
  • Strong practical knowledge of potatoes and pears is essential
  • Experience within Dutch open-field agriculture
  • Knowledge of sugar beet and onions would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of plant nutrition, crop production and biostimulants
  • Confident communicating with growers and agricultural businesses
  • Commercially minded, organised and able to work independently
  • Fluent Dutch and English with a full driving licence

Candidate Requirements
