Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd in the Netherlands is seeking a Technical Agronomy Advisor to support growers across the Dutch open-field sector. This field-based role focuses on practical agronomic advice, developing grower relationships and supporting the commercial development of an innovative agricultural product.

The candidate should hold an agronomy-related degree, have strong knowledge of potatoes and pears, be fluent in Dutch and English, and hold a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Pathology or a related subject.
• Strong practical knowledge of potatoes and pears is essential.
• Experience within Dutch open-field agriculture is advantageous.
• Fluent Dutch and English with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with growers across the region.
• Provide practical agronomic and technical advice.
• Support growers with product trials and demonstrations.
• Identify new commercial opportunities and farmer leads.
• Work closely with distributors and commercial teams.
• Attend agricultural events, demonstrations and field days.
• Gather market feedback and report on trial results.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reports.
